SILHOUETTE: Mrs. Weigl, you are known as an experienced expert in crystal application. For how long have you worked with this technique?
LISELOTTE WEIGL: For 15 years. Back then I came to Silhouette in Linz and started learning the Crystal Appliqué technique step by step.

SILHOUETTE: What are the qualities that you need to master the art of crystal application perfectly?
LISELOTTE WEIGL: A steady hand, a good eye and precision – but in particular ease of mind. One can’t become fidgety or impatient because every single crystal must be put precisely in its place.

SILHOUETTE: Is there one production step that you consider essential?
LISELOTTE WEIGL: Every step is important for the optimal result: The right amount of glue, the perfect placement of the stones and of course, finally, careful quality control.
